Kids Satsung

Coaching self-discovery, self-confidence and well being

These satsungs are especially designed for Indian-American kids to give them powerful tools and life skills within a frame work of a few, key elements of Indian culture. Each session is built around an important topic that helps kids deal with issues they face in their day-to-day lives in school and outside. Since kids love stories and stories are magical vehicles to carry important teachings, each session has a story. Each session ends with a five minute deep relaxation. Since kids lead very busy lives filled with after school activities, this once a week deep relaxation helps them sleep well and their bodies and minds rejuvenate.

In these satsungs, kids learn to relate to and develop a relationship with a loving God who is Light and Love - a God, whom they call Bhagwanji. He lives outside as well as in their hearts as their “very best friend”. This relationship, when developed at a young age, gives them an anchor for life. They also learn a couple of basic mantra and chants. Each satsung session lasts 30 minutes and holds totally the kids’ rapt attention.
